New King James Version | NET Bible |
Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. | 1Come! Let's sing for joy to the LORD! Let's shout out praises to our protector who delivers us! |

For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. | 3For the LORD is a great God, a great king who is superior to all gods. |
In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. | 4The depths of the earth are in his hand, and the mountain peaks belong to him. |
The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. | 5The sea is his, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land. |
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. | 6Come! Let's bow down and worship! Let's kneel before the LORD, our creator! |
For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice: | 7For he is our God; we are the people of his pasture, the sheep he owns. Today, if only you would obey him! |
“Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness, | 8He says, "Do not be stubborn like they were at Meribah, like they were that day at Massah in the wilderness, |
When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. | 9where your ancestors challenged my authority, and tried my patience, even though they had seen my work. |
For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’ | 10For forty years I was continually disgusted with that generation, and I said, 'These people desire to go astray; they do not obey my commands.' |
So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” | 11So I made a vow in my anger, 'They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.'" |
