A Psalm of David. I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. | 1By David. I will give you thanks with all my heart; before the heavenly assembly I will sing praises to you. |
I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. | 2I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for you have exalted your promise above the entire sky. |
In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul. | 3When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me. |
All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth. | 4Let all the kings of the earth give thanks to you, O LORD, when they hear the words you speak. |
Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD. | 5Let them sing about the LORD's deeds, for the LORD's splendor is magnificent. |
Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. | 6Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away. |
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. | 7Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me. |
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. | 8The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made! |
