2Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. | 2Your tongue devises destruction like a sharpened razor, O worker of deceit. |
3You love evil more than good, Lying rather than speaking righteousness. Selah | 3You love evil more than good, falsehood more than speaking truth. Selah |
4You love all devouring words, You deceitful tongue. | 4You love every word that devours, O deceitful tongue. |
5God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living. 6The righteous also shall see and fear, And shall laugh at him, saying, | 6The righteous will see and fear; they will mock the evildoer, saying, |
