| 13"If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways, | 13If only my people would obey me! If only Israel would keep my commands! |
| 14how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes! | 14Then I would quickly subdue their enemies, and attack their adversaries." |
| 15Those who hate the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever. | 15(May those who hate the LORD cower in fear before him! May they be permanently humiliated!) |
