For in you I have taken shelter. In the shadow of your wings I take shelter until trouble passes. | 1Have mercy on me, God, have mercy, for in you I have placed my trust. Even in the shadow of your wings will I find my refuge until this calamity passes. |
| 2I cry out for help to the sovereign God, to the God who vindicates me. | 2I call upon the God Most High; to the God who completes what he began in me. |
