| 2The noise of the whip, The noise of the rattling of the wheel, Galloping horses And bounding chariots! | 2The crack of the whip, and rumble of the wheel, galloping horse and bounding chariot! |
| 3Horsemen charging, Swords flashing, spears gleaming, Many slain, a mass of corpses, And countless dead bodies-- They stumble over the dead bodies! | 3Horsemen charging, flashing sword and glittering spear, hosts of slain, heaps of corpses, dead bodies without end— they stumble over the bodies! |

| 9Ethiopia was her might, And Egypt too, without limits. Put and Lubim were among her helpers. | 9Cush was her strength; Egypt too, and that without limit; Put and the Libyans were her helpers. |
