Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD. Give praise, O servants of the LORD, | 1Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD! Give praise, you servants of the LORD, |
who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. | 2you who are standing in the LORD's Temple, in the courtyards of the house of our God. |
Hallelujah, for the LORD is good; sing praises to His name, for it is lovely. | 3Praise the LORD, because the LORD is good; Sing to his name, for he is gracious. |
For the LORD has chosen Jacob as His own, Israel as His treasured possession. | 4It is Jacob whom the LORD chose for himself— Israel as his personal possession. |
For I know that the LORD is great; our Lord is above all gods. | 5Indeed, I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord surpasses all gods. |
The LORD does all that pleases Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and in all their depths. | 6The LORD does whatever pleases him in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all its deep regions. |
He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He generates the lightning with the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses. | 7He makes the clouds rise from the ends of the earth, fashioning lightning for the rain, bringing the wind from his storehouses. |
He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, of both man and beast. | 8It was the LORD who struck down the firstborn of Egypt, including both men and animals. |
He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants. | 9He sent signs and wonders among you, Egypt, before Pharaoh and all his servants. |
He struck down many nations and slaughtered mighty kings: | 10He struck down many nations, killing many kings— |
Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kings of Canaan. | 11Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, and every kingdom of Canaan— |

Your name, O LORD, endures forever, Your renown, O LORD, through all generations. | 13Your name, LORD, exists forever, and your reputation, LORD, throughout the ages. |
For the LORD will vindicate His people and will have compassion on His servants. | 14For the LORD will vindicate his people, and he will show compassion on his servants. |
