Numbers 6:24-26 records the Aaronic blessing: "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace." This blessing encapsulates the holistic peace that comes from God's favor and presence.

The prophetic literature envisions a future era of peace. Isaiah 9:6 prophesies the coming of the "Prince of Peace," whose reign will bring endless peace and justice.
