2. Moses Confronts Pharaoh’s Magicians

In Egypt, Moses and Aaron waged a spiritual showdown against Pharaoh’s sorcerers, who tried to replicate God’s miracles. Yet the LORD proved His power: “Thus says the LORD: ‘By this you will know that I am the LORD’” (Exodus 7:17). Ultimately, Pharaoh's magicians could not stand against God’s authority.

3. Jericho’s Walls Come Down

The Israelites faced monumental walls at Jericho—seemingly impossible to penetrate. But they triumphed through faith and obedience to God’s plan: “Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!” (Joshua 6:16). That victory underscored the truth that no barrier is too great when the Almighty fights for His people.

4. David vs. Goliath

Young David confronted a giant who mocked God and terrified Israel’s army. With unwavering trust, David declared: “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Hosts” (1 Samuel 17:45). This bold stand showed how courage in God can topple overwhelming odds.

5. Elijah and the Prophets of Baal

On Mount Carmel, Elijah challenged a crowd of idol-worshipers to see whose deity would send fire from heaven. “The God who answers by fire—He is God” (1 Kings 18:24). In one decisive display of power, the LORD settled any doubt about His might and sovereignty.

6. Jesus Tempted in the Wilderness

Even the Son of God faced spiritual conflict when Satan tried to derail Him at the very start of His ministry. Jesus stood firm on Scripture, saying, “Man shall not live on bread alone” (Matthew 4:4). This victory showed us how trusting in God’s Word conquers temptation.

7. Demons Flee at Jesus’ Command

In the region of the Gerasenes, a possessed man tormented by many demons recognized Jesus’ authority. He cried, “What have You to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?” (Mark 5:7). With just a word, Christ rescued this man and proved that evil cannot withstand His power and compassion.

8. Peter and John Before the Sanhedrin

After the resurrection, the apostles boldly proclaimed the gospel before religious leaders who sought to silence them. Their defiant message was simple: “Salvation exists in no one else” (Acts 4:12). Though threatened, they stood firm, demonstrating that faith in Jesus triumphs over opposition.

Battling an unnamed affliction, Paul pleaded with the Lord for relief. God’s response was both comforting and powerful: “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
