Now Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; its length was two and a half cubits, and its width one and a half cubits, and its height one and a half cubits;1Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood--two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
and he overlaid it with pure gold inside and out, and made a gold molding for it all around.2He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold molding around it.
He cast four rings of gold for it on its four feet; even two rings on one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.3He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other.
He made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.4Then he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
He put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry it.5And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it.
He made a mercy seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.6He made the atonement cover of pure gold--two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.
He made two cherubim of gold; he made them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat;7Then he made two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.
one cherub at the one end and one cherub at the other end; he made the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at the two ends.8He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover.
The cherubim had their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward each other; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.9The cherubim had their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking toward the cover.
Then he made the table of acacia wood, two cubits long and a cubit wide and one and a half cubits high.10They made the table of acacia wood--two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high.
He overlaid it with pure gold, and made a gold molding for it all around.11Then they overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold molding around it.
He made a rim for it of a handbreadth all around, and made a gold molding for its rim all around.12They also made around it a rim a handbreadth wide and put a gold molding on the rim.
He cast four gold rings for it and put the rings on the four corners that were on its four feet.13They cast four gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four corners, where the four legs were.
Close by the rim were the rings, the holders for the poles to carry the table.14The rings were put close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table.
He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.15The poles for carrying the table were made of acacia wood and were overlaid with gold.
He made the utensils which were on the table, its dishes and its pans and its bowls and its jars, with which to pour out drink offerings, of pure gold.16And they made from pure gold the articles for the table--its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings.
Then he made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work, its base and its shaft; its cups, its bulbs and its flowers were of one piece with it.17They made the lampstand of pure gold. They hammered out its base and shaft, and made its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.
There were six branches going out of its sides; three branches of the lampstand from the one side of it and three branches of the lampstand from the other side of it;18Six branches extended from the sides of the lampstand--three on one side and three on the other.
three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a bulb and a flower in one branch, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a bulb and a flower in the other branch-- so for the six branches going out of the lampstand.19Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms were on one branch, three on the next branch and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
In the lampstand there were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its bulbs and its flowers;20And on the lampstand were four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms.
and a bulb was under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.21One bud was under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair--six branches in all.
Their bulbs and their branches were of one piece with it; the whole of it was a single hammered work of pure gold.22The buds and the branches were all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
He made its seven lamps with its snuffers and its trays of pure gold.23They made its seven lamps, as well as its wick trimmers and trays, of pure gold.
He made it and all its utensils from a talent of pure gold.24They made the lampstand and all its accessories from one talent of pure gold.
Then he made the altar of incense of acacia wood: a cubit long and a cubit wide, square, and two cubits high; its horns were of one piece with it.25They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high --its horns of one piece with it.
He overlaid it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around, and its horns; and he made a gold molding for it all around.26They overlaid the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and made a gold molding around it.
He made two golden rings for it under its molding, on its two sides-- on opposite sides-- as holders for poles with which to carry it.27They made two gold rings below the molding--two on each of the opposite sides--to hold the poles used to carry it.
He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.28They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
And he made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense of spices, the work of a perfumer.29They also made the sacred anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense--the work of a perfumer.
