| 4Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. | 4Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds! |
| 5Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. | 5Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being. |

| 12Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: | 12young men and young women, old men and children. |
| 13Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. | 13Let them all praise the name of the LORD. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven! |
| 14He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD. | 14He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones— the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the LORD! |
