| 2Many are saying about me, "God will never deliver him!" Interlude | 2Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. |
| 3But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. | 3But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. |
| 4I cry aloud to the LORD, and he answers me from his holy mountain. Interlude | 4I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. |
