1God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: | 1A Psalm of Asaph. God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers. |
2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah | 2How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah. |
3Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. | 3Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. |
4Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” | 4Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. |
