Biblical Examples

1. Joseph
Joseph's life is a profound example of elevation by God. Despite being sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph remained faithful to God. His journey from a prisoner to the second-in-command in Egypt illustrates God's ability to elevate individuals according to His divine plan. Genesis 41:41-43 states, "Pharaoh also told Joseph, 'I hereby place you over all the land of Egypt.' Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his finger, put it on Joseph’s finger, clothed him in garments of fine linen, and placed a gold chain around his neck. He had Joseph ride in his second chariot, with men calling out before him, 'Bow the knee!' So he placed him over all the land of Egypt."

David, the shepherd boy, was chosen by God to be king over Israel.
