1) Serve First

7) Offer Encouragement

Leaders can shape a person’s outlook with just a few words of support. “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Whether by celebrating accomplishments or comforting those who struggle, choosing to uplift others energizes morale and fosters loyalty.

8) Communicate Clearly

Clear communication prevents confusion and fosters understanding. Scripture advises that our words be purposeful: “Let your statement be ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’” (Matthew 5:37). By speaking plainly and honestly, you create an atmosphere where people feel included and informed, and your instructions become easier to follow.

9) Be Trustworthy

Consistency and transparency form the bedrock of trust. “A faithful person will abound with blessings” (Proverbs 28:20). 10) Seek Wisdom

Finally, even the strongest leaders need guidance. “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God” (James 1:5). Regularly seek insight and discernment, acknowledging that leadership is a journey of growth. When you habitually pursue wisdom, you’ll make better decisions and remain grounded, no matter the challenges you face.
