John 9:2-8 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?… The excellent Mr. Moon, of Brighton, the blind friend of the blind, was present at a recent meeting of blind people at Manchester, and among the remarks he made was this: "When I became blind, as a young boy, people condoled with my mother on the heavy dispensation with which I was afflicted. They were wrong, my friends. God gave me blindness as a talent to be used for His glory. Without blindness I should never have been able to see the needs of the blind." It is worthy of note that this excellent man, Mr. Moon, as one of the uses of this "talent," has given the gospel published, in raised type, in nearly two hundred different languages and dialects to the blind throughout the world!
