Ephesians 5:8 For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light: I was in a darkened room, that I might observe the effect produced by the use of what is appropriately called "luminous paint." A neat card, on which the words "Trust in the Lord" were printed, rested upon the bookcase, and shone out clearly in the darkness. The effect fairly startled me. It was the first time that I had seen this simple but interesting effect. How remarkable that, if from any cause the light of sun or day failed to rest upon the card, its luminousness gradually declined, but returned when the sun's action infused fresh light!
