There was distrust. 3. There was unbelief. Many of God's children go on very well so long as they have no trials. IV. THE POWER OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. 1. His power in creation. 2. In the works of providence. 3. In His miracles. Christ is "able to save to the uttermost" (Hebrews 7:25). V. HOW TENDERLY AND PATIENTLY THE LORD JESUS DEALS WITH WEAK BELIEVERS.
