Some of the grounds which give rise to this delight in the heart of the believer. Its own intrinsic worth and excellence. He knows by experience its quickening and converting power. It has given and still gives the believer light. In the Word of God he has found peace. The Word gives the believer freedom. It consoles and supports the true believer in distress and temptation. 3. What is the result of this delight? What effect, does this feeling produce upon the believer's practice? He "meditates on the law of the Lord "day and night." (C. R. Hay, M. A.)
