Luke 15:3-7 And he spoke this parable to them, saying,… Among the hills of our native land I have met a shepherd far from the flocks and folds, driving home a lost sheep — one which had "gone astray," a creature panting for breath, amazed, alarmed, footsore; and when the rocks around rang loud to the baying of the dogs, I have seen them, whenever it offered to turn from the path, with open mouth dash fiercely at its sides, and so hound it home. How differently Jesus brings back His lost ones!
