Hallowed be Thy Name
Matthew 6:9
After this manner therefore pray you: Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name.


1. This prayer is a confession of our ignorance.

2. It is a supplication for knowledge.

3. It is an acknowledgment of our sin.

4. It is an entreaty for holiness in ourselves.

5. It ought to be increasingly comprehensive.
