Isaiah 45:22 Look to me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. The word does not correspond exactly to the English "look," but denotes the act of turning round in order to look in a different direction. The text, therefore, bears a strong analogy to those in which the heathen, when enlightened, are described as turning from their idols unto God (1 Thessalonians 1:9; Acts 14:15; Acts 15:19). (J. A.
