A Psalm of David 1O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure. 2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak; O LORD, heal me; for my bones shake. 3My soul is shaken. How long, O LORD, how long? 4Return, O LORD, rescue my soul; save me for Your mercies' sake. 5For in death there is no remembrance of You; in the grave who shall give You praise? 6I am weary with my groaning; all night I dampen my bed with my tears. 7My vision is diminished in my grief; my eyes grow dim because of all my enemies. 8Depart from me, all you evil doers; for the LORD has heard my weeping. 9The LORD has heard my plea; He will answer my prayer. 10May all my enemies be disgraced, perplexed, and rebuffed in sudden embarrassment.
