To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. 1The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, not one of them does good. 2The LORD looked down from heaven upon mankind, to see if there were any that understand, and seek God. 3But no, all are gone aside, they are altogether become corrupt; there is none that does good, no, not one. 4Have all these evildoers no understanding, devouring My people as they would bread, never once calling upon Me? 5They have good reason to be in great fear; for God defends the righteous. 6You evildoers may have frustrated the hopes of the poor, but their defender is the LORD. 7Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the LORD restores the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. Reader-Friendly Bible: Purple Letter Edition © 2024 by Jim Musser. Used by Permission.
