Gibbons, Thomas, an English Independent clergyman, was born at Reak, near Newmarket, May 31, 1720; was a friend of [75]Dr. Watts, and wrote his memoir. In 1743 he accepted a call to a Church in Cheapside, London, and held this pastorate up to his death, February 22, 1785.
