A Psalm of David. 1Give unto the LORD, O you mighty (heavenly beings / angels?), give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.
The voice of the LORD echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders; the LORD above many waters.
The voice of the LORD is powerful and full of majesty.
The voice of the LORD splits the cedars; yea, the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon.
He also makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion (Mt. Herman) like a young wild ox {unicorn}.
The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the LORD makes the deer to give birth to calves, strips bare the forests; and in His temple everything speaks of His glory.
The LORD sits enthroned above the flood; yea, the LORD will sit as King forever.
The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with peace. A Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David Easy Reader Bible: Purple Letter Edition © 2023 by Jim Musser. Used by Permission. All rights Reserved. Bible Hub |
