1And when he opened the seventh seal, there was stillness in Heaven for about half an hour.
2I saw seven Angels who were standing before God, to whom were given seven trumpets. 3And another Angel came and stood over the altar and had a golden censor, and much incense was given to him to offer with the prayers of all The Holy on the altar which was before the throne. 4And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of The Holy Ones from the hand of the Angel before God. 5And the Angel took the censor and filled it with fire which was upon the altar and cast it over The Earth. And there were thunders and voices and lightnings and earthquakes. 6And the seven Angels, with whom were the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound. 7And the first sounded, and there was hail and fire mixed with water, and they were cast upon The Earth, and the third of The Earth was burned, and a third of the trees burned, and all the grass of The Earth burned. 8And the second sounded, and there was as a great burning mountain falling into the sea and a third of The Sea became blood. 9And a third of all creatures that were in the Sea that had breath, died, and a third of ships was destroyed. 10And the third sounded, and a great burning star fell from the sky like a blaze and it fell on a third of the rivers and upon the springs of water, 11And the name of the star is called Absinthian and a third of the water became like Absinthe and a multitude of people died because the waters were made toxic. 12And the fourth sounded and a third of the Sun was devoured and a third of the moon and a third of the stars, and a third of them became dark, and a third of the day did not appear, and the night likewise. 13And I heard an eagle flying in the sky, which said, “Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of The Earth from the sound of the trumpets of the three Angels who are going to sound!” The Peshitta Holy Bible Translated Translated by Glenn David Bauscher Glenn David Bauscher Lulu Publishing Copyright © 2018 Lulu Publishing 3rd edition Copyright © 2019 |
